Blue House officially opens on 18 September

St James Settlement is responsible for revitalizing the Blue House Cluster for residential, commercial and community uses via the Viva Blue House Project. This project focused not only on the architecture, but also on the community. After the revamping, existing residents of the cluster could move back into the renovated buildings, while new tenants were invited to rent some of the apartments. The official opening ceremony of the restored Blue House was held on 18 September at the public space on King Sing Street, Wan Chai. The Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam, gave a speech at the ceremony. She thanked the new tenants for moving in because the revitalization project would not have been as sustainable if without them.
