Dr Philip Wickeri and Dr Ruiwen Chen launch photo book Thy Kingdom Come

Dr Philip Wickeri, advisor to the Archbishop on theological and historical studies, and Dr Ruiwen Chen, a researcher at the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Archives, held a book launch for their latest addition to the Sheng Kung Hui: Historical Studies of Anglican Christianity in China series on 18 September at Bishop’s House. Thy Kingdom Come: A Photographic History of Anglicanism in Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China is a book that celebrates the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. With 177 images, the book describes the founding of the church, her contribution to Hong Kong and her future developments. Archbishop Paul Kwong said during the launch that the book is perfect for people who are too lazy to read the text. Each image has captions in English and Chinese to provide essential information.
