The Compass Rose Society held its International Board Meeting at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, USA. The Society is wholly committed to serving all branches in the Anglican Communion by distributing funds to churches and associated organizations in need. During the meeting, the Very Revd Samson Jeremiah Fan was elected vice president, and the president the Rt Revd Andrew Doyle welcomed the results of the election. The projects supported by the Compass Rose Society vary. They include an e-learning platform for the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, funding for new facilities at the Bishop Ackon Eye Clinic in Cape Coast Ghana and aid to the Princess Basma Centre for Children with Disabilities under the diocese of Jerusalem. The Compass Rose Society also has plans to fund missionary, restoration and conservation projects in the future.
