HKSKH Ming Hua Theological College in Partnership with a Leading University

Publish Date: 26-Jul-2017

HKSKH Ming Hua Theological College is excited to announce a new partnership with Charles Sturt University in Australia.

The Hong Kong Government’s Education Bureau has approved HKSKH Ming Hua Theological College’s application to offer registered Bachelor and Master awards in partnership with Charles Sturt University.

The arrangement means that for the first time in its 70-plus years’ history, HKSKH Ming Hua Theological College will be offering Education Bureau registered university degree programmes. Upon completion the qualifications will be awarded by Charles Sturt University.

Students will be able to study for either an Australian accredited Bachelor of Theology or a Master of Theology award on a full-time or part-time basis. Lectures and tutorials will be delivered by HKSKH Ming Hua Theological College’s own faculty in its historic buildings in Central, Hong Kong. Students will also have access to Charles Sturt University’s world-class resources.

Charles Sturt University is Australia’s largest regional university and a significant provider of online education, with an established reputation for its emphasis on student learning, quality teaching and research.

The agreement sees HKSKH Ming Hua Theological College become a member of Charles Sturt University’s School of Theology, one of the largest university schools of theology in Asia Pacific, with more than 40 faculty members and 600 students.

Professor Gareth Jones, Principal of HKSKH Ming Hua Theological College, said: “This news marks the start of a wonderful new era for the College.”

“We have great students, great Faculty, marvellous courses and library resources, and now Australian University accreditation for the two courses shown below.”

“We are all excited to share these new opportunities and welcome everyone to come and study at Ming Hua.”
