HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre holds rice cooker cooking contest

The rise of sub-divided flats is a symptom of the poverty problem in Hong Kong. Living spaces are cramped in these flats and some have no separate kitchens or cooking areas. To draw attention to the residents’ plight, Lady MacLehose Centre held a cooking contest on 9 July by inviting five sub-divided flat residents in the Kwai Chung District and a master chef from a six-star hotel.
