HKSKH primary schools’ students stand out in international math competition

Seventy-two teams from twenty-six countries competed in the upper primary level division in India International Mathematics Competition 25-31 July in Lucknow. A team of four primary school students from HKSKH schools and another from the Diocesan Boys School represented Hong Kong. Students from the HKSKH Schools team each won a gold medal as an individual contestant, and as a team they received the team prize based on their individual scores as well as the championship in the team contest. They have also been awarded the Grand Prize for achieving the highest score both as individuals and as a team. The boys from the Diocesan Boys School won a silver medal and two honourable mentions in the individual category and first runner-up in the team category.
