Mok Hing Yiu College unveils memorial plaque at speech day

SKH St Mary's Church Mok Hing Yiu College held its speech day on 14 June. Joseph Sung, vice chancellor of the Chinese University Hong Kong, was the guest of honour who presented awards and addressed the assembly. In his speech, Professor Sung divulged how he measured life and success. The unveiling of a plaque commemorating Mrs Rita Mok took place on the same day. Mrs Mok was the wife of the late philanthropist Dr Mok Hing Yiu. The couple supported the school financially when it moved from Causeway Bay to Shum Shui Po. The plaque was unveiled by Archbishop Paul Kwong and Mrs Mok’s daughter, Ms Beatrice Mok, while the the Revd Tsui Yuk Fan, the school’s supervisor, spoke about Mrs Mok’s contribution to the school.
