St James’ Settlement kicks off the 1/n Community Fest

St James’ Settlement launched the Jockey Club Blue House Studio Cultural Heritage Education Programme in 2015. The objective of this three-year project was to promote heritage conservation through educational activities. On September 18, the Blue House Studio kicked off the 1/n Community Fest. The festival is made up of many activities taking place mainly revolving around the Blue House Cluster. 18 September saw the beginning of the Community Living Approach exhibition which showcases twenty-two pieces of artwork on the theme of community. Another exhibition named “Neighborhood community files” that began on 24 September depicts the changes the Blue House Cluster underwent in the last ten years. The 1/n Community Fest is held at 72-74A Stone Nullah Lane, Wan Chai, Hong Kong and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except for Wednesdays and public holidays. The festival will last until 26 November 2017.
