Anglican and Lutheran reflections published as Liberated by God’s Grace

Publish Date: 09-Oct-2017

Liberated by God’s Grace: Anglican–Lutheran Reflections was published earlier this year by the Anglican-Lutheran International Coordinating Committee, and a Chinese translation of the book was recently made available. The highly readable book carries forty-two daily reflections, each of which contains a passage from the Bible, a reflection written by an Anglican or a Lutheran, and a text drawn from either tradition. It is especially fitting as devotional material during the season of Lent.

In the foreword to the Chinese edition, Archbishop Paul Kwong wrote that the book was “the result of reflections of the two denominations on a journey of spiritual communion”. He hoped that on this journey together as companions, both denominations had learnt from each other, encouraged one another, and immersed in deep reflection.
