Foster mum wins Spirit of Hong Kong Award

The Spirit of Hong Kong Awards were presented on 29 September. Chin Pui-chun, an emergency foster mum at St Christopher’s Home for fourteen years, is the winner of the Compassion Ambassador Award. She has offered fifty-seven children an emergency home and is determined to continue her work for as long as her health allows. Believing that all children deserve an opportunity to be happy, she goes an extra mile for her foster children, such as taking them to outings and involving them in activities with her own family.
