Publish Date: 06-Nov-2017

A joint celebration took place on 21 October at St Paul’s College to mark the twentieth anniversary of HKSKH Western District Elderly Community Centre and the fifteenth anniversary of HKSKH Central and Western District Day Care Centre for the Elderly.

The two elderly care centres have always cooperated with St Matthew’s Neighbourhood Elderly Centre and St Luke’s Settlement Neighbourhood Elderly Centre to facilitate a variety of ministries. By collobrating in partnership with the government, the civil society, the commercial sector, medical professionals, and schools, the elderly care centres create a cross-sector service network that benefit the residents in the Western and Central District.

Guests of honour at the ceremony included Mr Lam Ding-fung, District Social Welfare Officer (Central Western, Southern and Islands); Mr Yip Wing-shing, the chairman of Central and Western District Council; the Revd Edith Sin of St Stephen’s Church; Ms Lai Sau-kay, executive committee member of HKSKH Welfare Council; and Dr Jane Lee, director of HKSKH Welfare Council.
