Seminar explores prospect of ecumenism in Hong Kong

A seminar was held in the chapel of Chung Chi Divinity School on 10 November as one of the many ecumenical activities that marked the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Named after the Lutheran-Catholic report From Conflict to Communion, the event was co-organized by Hong Kong Catholic Diocesan Ecumenical Commission, Hong Kong Christian Council, Ming Hua Theological College, Divinity School of Chung Chi College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Holy Spirit Seminary College of Theology and Philosophy, and Lutheran Theological Seminary. Attendees explored the Reformation through historical and theological perspectives, and discussed the prospect of the ecumenical movement in the context of Hong Kong.
