Bishop Timothy Kwok tells headmistresses to face challenges with passion
Publish Date: 12-Dec-2017
The sixth executive committee of the Anglican (Hong Kong) Early Childhood Education Council’s principal conference was inaugurated on 27 September at Holy Trinity Cathedral. The ceremony was presided by Bishop Timothy Kwok who presented certificates of appointment to the nine new committee members. Addressing the attendees, Bishop Kwok urged them to develop a vision that corresponded with their deepest concerns. He hoped that the principals could rediscover the passion that had motivated them to become teachers. Recognizing that everybody would feel tension when reality fell short of one’s ideals, he stressed that principals should manage their emotions creatively and turn to the school board and school supervisors for support when obstacles arose.
