In Midnight Mass, Bishop Chan urges Christians to find peace
Publish Date: 03-Jan-2018
Services
were held at the churches of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui on 24 and 25 December
2017 to celebrate Jesus’ Incarnation. At the Midnight Mass at All Saints’
Cathedral, Bishop Andrew Chan said in his sermon that Christians needed to transform
into a childlike state to find peace by the Holy Child’s manger. After finding peace,
they must then spread it. Bishop Chan said, “Baby Jesus is not here to control us; he opened his arms to us so that he may embrace us and let us embrace him in return. God hopes that we can love, serve and forgive each other in this fickle world instead of threatening and bullying each other.”
