Six Marks of Discipleship

The Lenten discipleship course is due to begin in February at the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui churches. The Standing Commission on Theological Education organized two workshops for church group leaders, one on 24 January and the other on the thirty-first. The workshops at St John’s Cathedral gave the leaders a deeper understanding of the content of this year’s spiritual training material Following Jesus: Six Marks of Discipleship, so that they could guide their group members when they return to their churches. While the Revd Dr John Kater, the author of the Lenten book, could not be with the group leaders at the training sessions, he shared with them the synopsis of his book in a video that he had recorded earlier.
