Eastern Kowloon Diocese to raise fifty million for future development

Diocese of Eastern Kowloon held its 2018 annual retreat for members of its diocesan synod, vestries and mission church council on 20 January. During his sermon, Bishop Timothy Kwok of Eastern Kowloon told the congregation that the diocese has to raise funds to ensure its future development. He hopes that all attendees could take this message back to their respective parishes and appeal for their prayers as well as financial support.

The diocese aims to raise fifty million to fund its ministry development, support the mission churches, equip more clergy for pastoral and evangelical work, establish a pastoral centre and office, and secure vicarages wherever necessary.
