The Revd Cheung Shiu-pui passes away on 3 December age 85

A former vicar of St Barnabas' Church, the Revd Cheung Shiu-Pui, who lived in Malaysia, passed away in Kuala Lumpur in the morning of 3 December at the age of 85 years.

Archbishop Paul Kwong expressed his sadness for the Revd Cheung’s passing away and described the departed priest as a hard-working, honest, principled, and loyal servant of God who was dedicated to his vocation. Archbishop Kwong pointed out that the Revd Cheung was a frugal person who loved his parishioners and was enthusiastic about spreading the Gospel. The Revd Cheung was personally involved in many projects and was beloved by his parishioners. He moved to Malaysia after retirement and continued to serve passionately at local Anglican churches. He is a well-respected and beloved priest, who loved God and loved people, said Archbishop Kwong.
