St John’s Tsang Shiu Tim Primary School celebrates golden jubilee

SKH St John’s Tsang Shiu Tim Primary School launched its golden jubilee celebrations with a tree-planting ceremony on 14 December. The Most Revd Dr Paul Kwong, Archbishop of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, and Mr Tsang Wing Lok and Mr Tsang Wing Wah, representatives of the Tsang Shiu Tim Charitable Foundation were officiating guests of honour at the ceremony.

Following the welcome speech of the supervisor of the school, Mr Chan Hon Man, to mark the beginning of the ceremony, student representatives gave their testimonials. At the tree planting, which was held immediately after the speeches, Archbishop Kwong, Mr Chan and the two representatives of the Tsang Shiu Tim Charitable Foundation planted the tree with the soil taken from the flowerbeds of the old campus to symbolize the continuation of the school on the blessed soil.
