Publish Date: 15-Jan-2020
Anglican Primary Schools Council and resident school librarians held a press briefing on the Digital Reading Diary project on 13 December at St Michael’s Primary School. School principals and librarians from over fifty Sheng Kung Hui primary schools attended the event. The aim of the project is to promote reading among primary students. Under the project, which was sponsored by the Quality Education Fund in 2019, the Digital Reading Diary activity and a related app were developed. Being a pioneering project, it involved ten schools initially and a core group of school librarians to oversee this project. Its aim was to develop a sustained reading habit and cultivate gentleness, a noble character, and a passion for learning among school children.
