App for families to find missing relatives

Since the launch of the HKSKH Welfare Council Welfare Council’s “Act of Love–Lost Persons Web” in December 2015, the app has been downloaded by over 2,000 people. Its main function is to help people find their missing relatives. When a person went missing, his/her family member can upload information of the missing person onto the app and the administrator of the app will release the information to all users so that they could help look for the missing person and hope to find him/her as quickly as possible. In the past four years, seventy families have used this app to find their missing relatives. Forty-seven missing people were seniors and thirty-three of them suffered from a cognitive disorder. The statistics prove that it is very common for patients of cognitive disorder to lose their way.
