Ming Hua Alumni Association celebrates 20th anniversary

Ming Hua Theological College Alumni Association celebrated its twentieth anniversary with a thanksgiving service on 3 November at St Paul’s Church. Approximately a hundred parishioners and alumni attended. The Bishop of Eastern Kowloon, Timothy Kwok, presided over the service, and the Revd Lam Chun-wai preached the sermon.

In his sermon, Fr Lam pointed out that although the alumni association might be a inconspicuous, small community, its members could lead people on to the path of faith.

“As a member of Ming Hua, we can discover the transformations in our roles. We have transformed from students to teachers and transmitters of faith; just like how St Peter transformed from a fisherman to a shepherd who cared for his flock,” Fr Lam said.
