Approximately two hundred Sunday school teachers gathered at All Saints’ Cathedral on 1 December to take part in the HKSKH Sunday School Revival Movement. Organized by the Steering Committee of the HKSKH Church Policy Paper and co-organized by the Religious Education Resource Centre, the event consisted of a seminar and a number of workshops. The Revd Dr Philip Chan, pastor of the Hong Kong Baptist Church; Mrs Boni Tam, officer in charge of children ministry at the Evangelical Free Church of China Yan Fook Church; and Ms Eliza Chan, part-time lecturer in the Lay Theological Education Department at the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary, were invited to share with the participants their experiences and thoughts on the present situation of Sunday schools at the seminar, including the challenges they faced and the solutions to those challenges.
