St John’s Cathedral celebrates 170th anniversary with a carnival

St John’s Cathedral celebrated her 170^th anniversary with a carnival held at the Chater Road Pedestrian Precinct on 24 February. The many performances and games attracted many parishioners of the cathedral, citizens of Hong Kong and visitors to join in the fun.

The carnival is just one of St John’s many anniversary celebrations, all under the theme “Faith in the City”. The cathedral hopes to share with the citizens her faith in Christ through these events, so people could pray for Hong Kong to become a happier and more prosperous city together.
