Publish Date: 25-Mar-2019
Over 2800 primary school teachers, managers, principals, and supervisors attended a professional development event organized by the Anglican (Hong Kong) Primary Schools Council on 8 March at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wanchai. Dr Charles Yu, an experienced counselor, was invited to give a keynote speech titled “How to become a teacher with a sunny disposition”. The event started with the matins. The Rt Revd Andrew Chan, Bishop of Western Kowloon, and the Rt Revd Dr Timothy Kwok, Bishop of Eastern Kowloon, presented long service awards to educators who had worked in HKSKH schools for thirty, thirty-five, and forty years, and also to school managers and school supervisors who had served in their roles for fifteen years to commend them for their self-less contribution to cultivating students.
