St Mark’s Church in Macau celebrates its 70th anniversary

St Mark’s Church in the Missionary Area of Macau celebrated its 70th anniversary on 19 May. Archbishop Paul Kwong, Primate of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui and Bishop of Macau, officiated at the service and delivered a sermon. He also confirmed fifteen candidates. Bishop Andrew Chan of the Diocese of Western Kowloon and Bishop Timothy Kwok of the Diocese of Eastern Kowloon also took part in the service. The theme of the anniversary celebration is “Consolidating fruits of past 70 years for the future”. In his sermon, Archbishop Kwong said that apart from praising and giving thanks to God for serving God and Macau residents in the past 70 years, we prayed to the Lord to continue guiding the development of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui and St Mark’s Church in Macau.
