Publish Date: 11-Jun-2019
Forty primary five and six students from St Peter's Primary School embarked on a cultural trip to London from 13 to 23 April to learn about religion, culture and English language. A memorable part of the journey was the attending of an Easter Service at Westminster Abbey in London, the birth place of Anglicanism. During the 10-day trip, the students visited many landmarks and heritage sites such as the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and Chinatown. They went to theatre to watch the famous Broadway musical Wicked. They visited two of the world’s top universities: Oxford and Cambridge. The students listened to their guides intently and learned a lot.
