Ming Hua Theological College holds exchanges with librarians from Japan

Ming Hua Theological College organized an exchange programme for librarians with Japanese academics. Forty Hong Kong librarians in higher education institutions, middle and primary schools, teachers, and students attended the event. The exchange was co-organized by Li Fook Hing Secondary School and Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School. Professor Nakamura Yuriko from Japan’s Rikkyo University gave a speech on the theme “Major trends in education and school libraries in Japan” and introduced the developments in Japanese education and libraries, especially on STEM and the new trends of library education in Japan. Ms Cheung Sau-ching, head librarian of Ming Hua Theological College then talked about aerial photography and VR. She also shared about the project’s designs, the utilization of VR and aerial photography equipment and the effects the project has on middle and university students’ studies.
