Veteran Cantonese opera artist shares her life experiences with the elderly

Joyce Koi, a veteran Cantonese Opera artist, was invited as a guest lecturer at HKSKH Welfare Council’s Vitalia Academy for Life Long Learning. She talked about her life on the Cantonese opera stage. Koi is a talented artist who takes great pride in her profession and values teamwork. Her constant drive for breakthroughs contributed to her success. Besides Cantonese opera, she also took part in TV dramas and stage plays. She even performed in concerts with the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. She found participating in different forms of performances helped polish her skills. Currently, Koi is actively looking for new talent for Cantonese opera so that she could pass on the art.
