St Stephen’s Church, Macau, celebrated its fifteenth anniversary on 14 May. To mark the occasion, a thanksgiving service with the sacraments of Eucharist and confirmation was officiated by Archbishop Paul Kwong There were four confirmands.

In his sermon, the Archbishop explained the meaning of confirmation and the responsibility of Christians to proclaim God’s grace. This responsibility arises from the two important missions with which the Church is entrusted: to invite people to answer the Lord’s call by joining the faith community, and to send the faithful back to the community as witnesses of the Lord.
