Irish Primate visits Hong Kong and Macau

Richard Clarke, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, conducted his first visit to Hong Kong 13–18 May. He preached the homily at an Eucharist in All Saints’ Cathedral. Other places he visited in Hong Kong included Ming Hua Theological College, HKSKH Tseung Kwan O Aged Care Complex, and the Church of St John the Baptist. In Macau, he went to SKH Taipa Youth and Family Integrated Service Centre, Choi Kou School, and Morrison Chapel.

The Province gave a banquet to welcome Archbishop Clarke on 14 May. On the occasion, Archbishop Clarke talked about the challenges the Irish church faces and stressed the importance for churches to develop strong friendship to face the difficulties in the future.
