Lady MacLehose Centre holds first AGM after integration with Welfare Council

HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre held its forty-fourth annual general meeting on 25 November 2017, the first after its incorporation into HKSKH Welfare Council. During the meeting, Mr Ng Yuk-ming, the new director of the centre, reported on the centre’s work in the past year. They have launched projects to teach children money management skills, opened Chinese classes for non-Chinese children, and kicked off the Jockey Club Sunshine Project that provided various services and facilities to residents of sub-divided flats. The centre also provided women and the hearing-impaired with job opportunities at their social enterprise I-Nail Salon, and implemented projects for the elderly, including those suffering from dementia and depression.
