Casual exchanges between Bishop Andrew Chan and his young flock

The fellowship for young working adults, started by the youth committee in the Diocese of Western Kowloon, organized two gatherings between youths and Bishop Andrew Chan on the evenings of 12 and 19 April.

In the first gathering, Bishop Chan told his audience amusing episodes from his early years and how he had arrived at his calling. In the second gathering, youngsters shared with Bishop Chan their opinions on various topics, from matters related to the church to politics.

Bishop Chan stressed the importance of lending an ear to the views of the young parishioners and has promised that he will attend other gatherings organized by the fellowship of young working adults in the future to learn about the youth ministries at different parishes in his diocese.
