‘Thy Kingdom Come’ 2017 ─ prayers, scriptures and reflections for meditation

‘Thy Kingdom Come’ is a global prayer movement launched by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York in 2016. It aims at encouraging Christians around the world to pray together during the period between Ascension and Pentecost as witnesses of the Lord and for more people to come to know Jesus Christ.

This year, Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui also invite parishioners to join the meaningful movement. Thank for your support if you have signed up to be one of the prayer warriors. For those who have not enrolled yet, you can still join the prayer movement through the QR code below to sign up online. Prayer warriors can use the prayers, scriptures and reflections for meditation provided as daily devotional materials from Ascension, Thursday, 25th May 2017 until Pentecost, Sunday, 4th June 2017(download from bottom of this page). Parishioners are also welcome to visit and pray at the three Cathedrals during the below hours:

St John’s Cathedral (4-8 Garden’s Road, Central) Open hours: 7am to 6pm

All Saints’ Cathedral (11 Pak Po Street, Mongkok) Open hours: 8:30am to 6pm

Holy Trinity Cathedral (135 Ma Tau Chung Road, Kln City) Open hours: 2pm to 5pm
