The Feast of St Philip

Sentence		(The Feast of St Phillip should be on 1 May. As it overlaps the 6th Sunday of Easter, it is shifted to 2 May.) Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, says the Lord; that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14:13)

Collect		Almighty God, who gave to your apostle Philip grace and strength to bear witness to the truth: Grant that we, being mindful of their victory of faith, may glorify in life and death the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
